Billy Corgan Rips Into Courtney Love On Twitter

Billy Corgan took to Twitter yesterday after what seems to be the last straw in his “relationship” with Courtney Love. These tweets came before Love was on the Howard Stern show yesterday morning, where she spent a lot of the time complaining about some guy that refused to visit her at an airport during a layover. She mentioned to Stern that she had known this guy for 20 years and “may or may not be in love with him.”

Love then went on to admit a veracious crack habit for the last several years, as well as several other diatribes that leads listeners to believe she’s speaking of Corgan. Besides the fact that a layover in Chicago in traveling from NYC to LA would make sense, the pair have been very public in their dissatisfaction with each other, though Love took to Facebook a few weeks back and apologized to Corgan for several of her transgressions.

Then later in the day, these tweets showed up on Corgan’s account, hopefully you can read Tweetspeak:

First Tweet: my face is my face, my heart is my heart, my money is my money. Oh, and my songs are MY songs+If you can’t write your own songs?

Second Tweet: if you can’t write your own songs maybe you should just be happy that you fooled someone into doing your work for you..]

Third Tweet: maybe you should go someone nice+live off your husband’s money, u know the money he made for writing all those great songs.

Fourth Tweet: when you issue someone an apology on YOUR facebook page you might actually mean it and take responsibility for it. But…

Fifth Tweet: the world is aware of your lack of responsibility, as seen in the gov’t taking away your parental right. Only you could abandon!

Sixth Tweet: Only u could abandon such a beautiful, incredible child who is smarter than u, cooler than u, and better than u. Oops, did I say too much?

Seventh Tweet: so have your moment, burn up in the sun that laughs at u as equally as it appears to celebrate u+sleep knowing u have no honor.

Ouch… Add this to Love’s new request to no longer go by Courtney Love, instead renaming herself with her original name (Courtney Michelle Harrison), and it’s been a nice week of insanity for grunge stars.
