Dave Grohl and Lady Gaga to Star In New Muppets Movie

The Muppets used to be a bit more relevant back before I was born, however, they seem to be making a comeback, post-Jim Henson. One of the most notable aspects of the Muppets back when they made countless movies, and did their hourly show, was that they’d always get the biggest stars and musicians to come on and showcase their talents, while keeping it light for the kids. This is what has made these old Muppet Show clips stand the test of time. I mean, how can you not appreciate this:

Anyhow, the latest Muppet creation is coming in the form of yet another full-length film. The new movie, written by actor Jason Segel, also features cameos from Jack Black, Ricky Gervais, and Lady Gaga. But most notably, it features Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl sitting in for the Muppets band’s drummer Animal at the drum kit while Animal received “anger management classes.” Grohl is in the midst of working on the new Foo Fighters album and he also contributed drums to a track on Michael Jackson's posthumous album, which was recently released.
